What Are The Aims Of Scouting?

The Aim of Scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
We encourage all the young people to make the most of the opportunities offered

Special Needs

We have access within the district to help support young people with special needs. To enable us to support your child please tell us all the information required to aid your child so they have fun and get something out of Scouting.

Adult Clearance

All Uniformed Leaders and Helpers are checked by DBS and subject to clearance through Scout Association Adult Membership. We would encourage any parents to carry out this check as well, as this could make it easier should we need to ask for help with an event. If you are prepared to do this then please let one of the leaders know. It is not compulsory but can help the district at times and we would be grateful if you could give this some consideration.
